    The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing all Blain Supply equipment., heavy emphasis on forklifts.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform oil changes, repair/replace brakes, install new transmissions, install replacement engines, overhaul engines, complete welding fabrication (plasma, mig, ARC), tire changes and repairs.
    • Perform Preventive Maintenance on a variety of powered equipment, including gas and electric forklifts.
    • Repair forklifts.
    • Perform DOT inspections.
    • Complete repairs to hydraulics and ignitions.
    • Assist with seasonal snow removal at home office and distribution center.
    • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures. 



    Minimum Qualifications

    • Possess a valid Driver License
    • Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, with occasional overtime.
    • Possess or have ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
    • Ability to learn to operate and safely utilize a variety of warehouse lift and product-moving equipment. 

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Forklift repair experience
    • Automotive Standard of Excellence (ASE)
    • Department of Transportation (DOT) vehicle inspection certification
    • 3+ years automotive or diesel repair experience.
