Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Merchandiser at our Corporate Headquarters.  This position is located in Janesville, WI.  This position is responsible for Merchandise products and ensure shelves and displays are maintained. Create plan-o-grams

 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Obtain product from vendor. Set product.
  • Conduct regular store visits to review product display and discuss product/display issues with store personnel.
  • Execute analysis of item/space productivity by using all available resources including sales reports and microsoft software programs.
  • Design new store layouts for assigned product line in conjunction with Engineering Department.
  • Purchase store fixtures. Purchase and maintain product line.
  • Responsible for coordinating efforts with all corporate partners and divisional staff regarding product line, plan-o-grams, merchandising standards and calendars.
  • Attend trade shows and vendor presentations.
  • Implement and complete store re-set projects.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years retail experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Vendors, Store Teams and Management
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Possess a valid driver license
  • Weekend and/or evening work and overnight/out of state travel is required
