This position will be responsible for all system/product flow and accuracy for warehouse facilities. Assist in providing solutions to complex supply chain issues, identifying operational and logistical inadequacies and providing data compilation, analysis, modeling and implementation support to project teams.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary focus is on the logistical component of the Supply Chain.  Focus is on distribution center automation and execution software, understand evolving Supply Chain and Enterprise systems, data and tools landscape – both at Blains and in the industry at large including: Microsoft Dynamics AX, Aptean, Lean Logistics, Dematic, and 3PL integration.
  • Coordination of user training, drive and project manage supply chain initiatives.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations.
  • Inventory analysis and flow control.
  • Assist with coordination of annual physicals for Warehouse inventory if needed.
  • Reconcile daily reports in order to keep system inventory accurate and timely.
  • Maintain radio frequency unit and WMS software.
  • Systems data integrity and ensuring items are set-up correctly.
  • WMS design and troubleshooting and modify as appropriate.
  • Act as liaison between MIS and Warehouse to ensure all computer systems are operating correctly.
  • Request, order and identify updated hardware/software/labels for warehouse.
  • Provide coverage for assigned staff when needed.
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.



  • Bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ work experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with retail, logistics, distribution or warehouse systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Quick learner with strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential including an ability to present complex and sensitive issues to key business stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientated, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and executives.
  • Advanced Experience with MS Office Products (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
