As a Contract Recruiter you will be responsible for managing all recruiting efforts for designated Corporate Office positions: including but not limited to, IT, HR, Accounting and Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing. The successful Recruiter will build relationships with candidates and internal business units to build a network of candidates.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for managing all recruiting efforts for designated Blain’s Corporate Office positions: including, but not limited to, IT, HR, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing.
  • Partners with the hiring manager, Talent Acquisition Manager and Human Resources Business Partner in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Sourcing candidates by utilizing various methods (i.e., networking, referrals, online searches, internet postings, job/career fairs, local colleges, user/technical groups, etc.).
  • Implement and utilize effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates and conduct in-depth screening of perspective applicants.
  • Uses company applicant tracking system for tracking, candidate management and reporting.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with special projects as needed.


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or business related field preferred (equivalent work experience will be considered).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of recruiting in a corporate office or staffing agency environment
  • Experience recruiting using multiple sources to recruit. Knowledge and experience using internet recruiting sites is required.
  • Deep experience using social media (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and online recruiting tools (e.g. LinkedIn, etc) to identify, source and recruit talent.
  • Strong behaviorally based interview skills
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service skills, ability to work independently, demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, follow-through, problem solving and marketing skills are required.
  • Must be self-motivated, well organized, results oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
